Bono (Paul David Hueson) is an Irish musician, singer and activist.

Bono is the lead singer and lead songwriter for the music group U2. His songs often refer to religious, political and social topics, and especially in the early days, were famous for his rebellion.

Bono is active in campaign and support programs such as Project Red and One campaign in Africa. Bono says that after participating in the Secret Policeman's balls in 1979, he was motivated to join philanthropic activities.
