Leonardo Wilhelm DiCaprio ( English : Leonardo Wilhelm DiCaprio , born 11 November 1974) is an American actor and film producer. He has been awarded the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor for his performance in Aviator (2004) and he has been nominated for eight more other times. Apart from this, he has got nomination for Academy Award , Screen Actors Guild Awards and British Academy Film Award .
Their childhood grew up in Los Angeles , California , D. Caprio began his career with television commercials and later in the 1990s with TV series like Santa Barbara and Growing Paris . He made his acting debut in the film based on science-based film Crafts ( 1991) and was highly appreciated for This Boy's Life (1993). D'Caprio was praised for supporting the main role in Watts Eating Gilbert Grape (1993) and Marvin's Room (1996) as an assistant artist and in The Basketball Diaries (1995) and Romeo + Juliet (1996), but he was honored with international fameJames Cameron meets the film Titanic (1997).
Since 2000, DiCaprio received nominations for many awards for many of his films, including Catch Me If You Can(2002), Gangs of New York (2002), The Aviator (2004), Blood Diamond (2006), The Deported (2006) and Revolutionary Road (2008). His new films Shutter Island (2010) and Inception (2010) are among the most successful films of his career. In the 73rd Golden Globe Awards for the 2015 film " The Revenue , he was named Best Actor .
