Los Angeles-based filmmaker Walt Disney's residence in Chicago, Illinois, is being transformed into a museum. According to the report of the Hollywood Reporter, the repair work on the birthplace of the filmmaker and his brother Roy was started on 5 December 2013. After completion of the repair work, it will be designated as a historic site. Construction began with Disney's 112th birthday. While celebrating the occasion, Chicago Mayor Rahmat Emmanuel has announced the Walt Disney Day on December 5. Disney died in 1966 after 10 days of celebrating its 65th birthday. [2]
