Bob Dillon is an American songwriter, singer, artist, and author. Apart from American folk music , it has also earned a lot of name in pop music . [1]
Bob was born on May 24, 1941 in Minnesota . His real name is Robert Allen Zimmerman. Her grandparents Russian Samrjy(now Ukraine came to America), and their oldest known ancestor of Turkey 's Jews were. His grandparents were Jews of Lithuania . Bob's father, Abram Zimmerman, ran an electric appliance store, and his maya's name was Beatrice Stone.
Bob grew up in New York , where the New York Times newspaper reviewed one of his shows. After this he gave a break by a record producer named John Hammond. Only 5000 copies of Bob's debut album were sold, but his popularity grew steadily. In the 1960s, he participated in the African-American Civil Rights Movement .
In 1966 a bicycle accident broke Bob's bone ribs. But soon he started playing again and again. In the 1970s, Bob turned to Christianity, and he started playing religious gospel music. In 1980, he turned to pop music. He received the Oscar award in 2000, and in 2016, he won the Nobel Prize in Literature in the form of a lyricist . [2]
