    In March 2013, Kohli started the charity foundation called Virat Kohli Foundation (VKF). The purpose of the organization is to help the disadvantaged children and organizes events to raise money for charity. According to Kohli, the foundation works with select non-governmental organizations "to raise awareness, to get help and to raise funds for various reasons and to raise funds for those philanthropic activities". In May 2014, eBay and Save the Children India donate auction with VKF, its income benefits children's education and health care.
    Kohli has led the VKF-owned All Heart Football Club, in charity football matches against humanity's owner All Stars Football Club for Abhishek Bachchan's game. The game, known as "Celebrity Clasico," introduces players playing for All Heart and Bollywood actors in the All-Star team, and is organized to create funds for these two charity foundations.
