Bharti was born in Mumbai (now Mumbai ) as insurance officer Om Prakash Bharti and his wife Meeta Bharti. [6] She has a younger brother named Kunal and a half-brother, Poonam, who was the first marriage of Bharti's father. [7] Actress Kainaat Arora is her second generation cousin. [8]
She speaks fluent Hindi , English and Marathi to language . In her early years, Bharti was known for her personality and temperament [9]and her doll-like appearance. [10]
Bharti studied at Maneckji Cooper High School in Juhu, Mumbai . She is an ordinary student and has completed the ninth standard before completing her acting career. [11]

In 1988, Bharti was discovered by filmmaker Nandu Tolani. After seeing her, Torrance insisted on signing a movie for her. At the time, Bharti was the ninth standard (ninth grade). She originally planned to make her debut at Gunahon Ka Devta in 1988 , but her role was cancelled. [12] Kirti Kumar noticed in the video library Bharti, therefore desire in Govinda opposite signed her project Radha Ka Sangam , because he was looking for a new face. A few weeks later, Kumar met Dilip Shankar and managed to release Bharti from the contract. Bharti's first Bollywood film was Vishwatma, opposite Sunny Deol , directed by Rajiv Rai , and was released on January 2, 1992. Critics report that Bharti belongs to a group of new Hindi film actor who are out of stereotypes.Bharti and Shahrukh Khan won the Lux year respectivelyBest Men's Award for Best Faces and Movie Awards . That year she also had several other Hindi versions, including Jaan Se Pyaara , in which Bharti once again starred with Govinda . Geet was opposite Avinash Wadhawan , Dushman Zamana and Armaan Kohli and Balwaan , which was Sunil Shetty 's debut . [25] The latter is a low-budget movie with some success. In October, Heil Malini 's Dil Aashna Hai , once again playing her opponent Shahrukh Khan, was released and did not perform well at the box office. However, Divya's performance as a bar dancer showing her biological mother was appreciated. [26] Bharti decided to perform in a Telugu film every year to avoid disappointing her Telugu audience. Shortly before her death, she had completed the filming of Rang and Shatranj , which was traced back a few months later and achieved some success. Although she has already filmed her scene for the two films, she still used a dubbing artist because she never had the chance to dub the film. Her incomplete Telugu film Tholi Muddhu waspartially completed by actress Rambha , who was slightly similar to Bharti and was used as her body to double her remaining scenes and the film released in October 1993. Bharti met with director and producer Sajid Nadiadwala through Govinda during the filming of Shola Aur Shabnam . They married on May 10, 1992. Divya married Sajid at a private ceremony, her barber friend Sandhya, Sandhya's husband and Qazi Tulsi Buildings residence in Nadiadwala (in Mumbai). [32]

When her guest Neeta Lulla , Neeta's husband Shyam, Divya's maid Amrita and the neighbors realized what had happened, she was taken by ambulance to the emergency room at Cooper Hospital .She is lying in a pool of blood and dying there. The direct cause of death is severe head injury and internal bleeding. The cause of her fatal fall has never been established, during which the media spread several theories, including alcoholism, being promoted by someone, Bharti's habit of doing thrilling missions, suicide, and the involvement of husbands and underworld mafia . [33] [34] [35] [9] Theinvestigation was closed by the Mumbai police in 1998 and the cause of death was called accidental death . [10] She was cremated on April 7, 1993 at the Vile Parle crematorium in Mumbai. [32] [36]
